Trainer Training
Our head of training, Maxim Jago, has been developing his own unique teaching system for over ten years. He has taught technical and creative subjects to everyone from children to university students and worked with freelancers, production companies, broadcasters and large-scale organisations. This system makes the learning experience, in his own words, ‘like taking a stroll through a meadow-field full of wild flowers with a nature expert. You chat about fun and interesting things, then realise you have learned an enormous range of facts and developed a profound understanding’.
This advanced training system is particularly effective for technical subjects, where a range of completely new skills needs to be learned in unfamiliar contexts.
The system is pain free and can be learned. It uses an advanced understanding of natural human learning processes and provides expanded awareness of empathetic skills, highly contextual storytelling and invests training sessions with meaningful patterns, particularly in the oral and visual presentation of new ideas and in the building of meaningful relationships with existing understanding. Yes, indeed, only sentences as long as that can begin to encompass this training system.
For the student, the whole learning experience feels like an easy, relaxed chat about the subjects in hand with a lively and actively engaged teacher. For the teacher, the system requires simple ‘listening’ skills (which are taught as part of the system) and awareness of both their own and their students’ non-verbal signals.
This training system is not for people that are completely new to teaching. If you already have some experience of teaching, in any context, you will most likely find this is the training that makes THE difference to your teaching experience.
The Advanced Trainer Training is only provided bespoke, after consultation. The consultation phase allows for exercises and examples to be created that are highly relevant to the participants in the course.
The course has a structure that supports the natural learning processes of the delegates, with sessions split up to allow for real-world application and feedback. There is also an assessment component in the course, which can be focused on various forms of learning practice depending on requirements.
If you would like more information or would like to enquire about a visit from Maxim to provide bespoke training or consultancy, please contact us. We will be happy to discuss your requirements.
